A new controversy has erupted in Madhya Pradesh. The state government has decided to add a chapter of Bhagavad Gita in General Hindi and special Urdu Text book. The problem is that the government has decided to add the chapter in the text book prescribed for Class I and II. Muslim leaders have termed the move as of saffronisation of Islamic centres of learning.
Hindus have a right to introduce such things. Muslims have been doing this in countries where they are in majority. The question is: Is this kind of actions are good for India? I don’t think so. This kind of action can bring some votes in the bag of BJP but it is not good for the communal harmony. Muslims parents can tell their children to appreciate Hindu culture and religious rituals.
